Podcast Interview Flow
Each Eco Scale Radio interview is an “Audio Masterclass”
The “Audio Masterclass” is on a topic the guest is an expert in
This “Audio Masterclass” is a conversation between you and Jim
This is an Audio-Only interview
The goal is to focus on your area of expertise and provide incredible value
The interview is typically about 60-minutes.
If your schedule will allow it and the topic requires it, we can stretch it to 90-minutes.
We’d rather dive deep than skim the surface.
The longer we can talk, the deeper we can dive into the problems, solutions, and actions.
You can provide any Call To Action you wish at the end of the show
The Guest must read and agree to the Guest Terms and Conditions (Release Form)
The focus is on connection, education, action, and hope.
We want to help our listeners maintain a Challenge and Growth mindset.
Prior to the interview we need the Guest to provide the following:
6-8 bullet points which will be used in the episode
a suggested title for the interview that highlights the focus of the content to be covered
a 30-ish word bio
a portrait image of the guest. (optional: image of the company logo, book cover, etc)
By being a guest on our podcast, you will have the opportunity to:
Showcase your expertise and share your story with a targeted audience of business owners who are always eager to learn and grow personally and professionally.
Expand your reach and grow your personal brand by tapping into our engaged audience across different platforms.
Provide any Call To Action you wish at the end of the show.
Share one or more of your digital takeaways (checklist, infograph, etc.) on the Show Notes page for your episode. That way when listeners use it, they will remember you long after the interview.
Guest fills out the Guest Intake (aka Pre-Interview Questionnaire) form.
The Guest must read and agree to the Guest Terms and Conditions (Release Form)
Guest reviews the type of mic we recommend for a high-quality podcast recording
(Optional) In addition to your Call To Action during the interview, it would be great to offer something the listeners can do or use after the interview such as:
a tip, tool, tactic entrepreneurs need to know and probably don't
a checklist
an infograph
That way we can give the audience lots of value they can use long after the interview. And while they are using it they will be thinking of you.
We send you a reminder of the scheduled interview.
Just prior to the Interview, we send you an invite to Zoom where we record the interview.
The focus is on having a pleasant conversation full of stories, tips, and actionable steps that cover the bullet points you provided.
The focus is on providing 9-parts valuable information in the form or tips, stories, recommendations and 1-part soft sell (your Call To Action)
You can provide any Call To Action you wish at the end of the show
I want our conversation to touch people’s heart and leave them with some action(s) they can take to do what they can to grow their business and/or mitigate/adapt to Climate Change.
During the interview it would be great if you could offer a story or two that illustrates a major takeaway you want people to have and remember long after the interview.
Be vulnerable, take us to a moment in time when you were at your lowest. And an epiphany that change it all for you. Tell us that story.
Tell us about one of your lowest lows and one of your AH-HA epiphanies.
Tell us about something that gets you FIRED UP these days?
What lights your fire these days. What gives you hope?
The goal is to provide some detailed information and some actionable tips that you recommend.
We send the Guest an email a week before and the day the interview "Goes Live" in the Podcast Sphere.
